Diversity Green Card Lottery for 2027 has been restored By Court Order

Diversity is alive and well in America and that is reflected in a recent court order compelling the Trump administration to reopen the Diversity Green Card Lottery program for 2027. This would be welcome news for immigrants who might n0t otherwise qualify to come to the United States from countries that do not normally send many immigrants to the U.S. That is exactly why the program exists. American diversity did not begin as a government program. But at times, it has been threatened by government programs.

Police arrest two, recover 14 animals stolen from Narok in Mwea, seven had already been slaughtered

Police in Kirinyaga have been able to arrest two suspects in connection with the theft of 21 animals from Narok County.   The arrested persons are the driver and the buyer.   The initial number of the animals that had been stolen was 21 where after the visit to Murubara slaughterhouse in Mwea, accompanied by police they were able to get 14, where seven had already been slaughtered.   The animal owners followed their animals from Narok county to Kirinyaga County, making stops at weighbridges at Mai Mahiu,Juja where they were able to get 14 of their animals before they were slaughtered,Seven had already been slaughtered.   Full of anger, the Maasai's explained how they spotted the said lorry that was used to ferry the animal going back to Narok after delivering the animals to its "buyer", where they circulated the information of other animal owners to be extra careful and keep an eye on it, The masaai's had managed to getting its colour, number plate from the weighbridges they visited.   Saidima Ole Koonya stated that from the cameras,Four individuals were on-top of the lorry maybe manning the animals, where at the Juja weighbridge, the lorry had passed 4.20 a.m being driven at a very high speed, where they suspected that could be the lorry that was ferrying the animals. By the time they reached Mwea, it was morning and the lorry had already gone back to narok, suspecting it had gone to collect the remaining batch. Koonya said, they are not leaving without the missing animals.   "We followed our animals from Narok to Mwea, the stolen animals were 21 but we were able to get 14, seven had already been slaughtered, the team that is carrying out the theft is well coordinated since by the time we got to Mwea, we spotted the lorry that was used to ferry the animals on its way back to Narok"said Ole Konya.   Mwea East Sub-county officer Henry Gitonga said that the arrested individuals will assist police in investigations with intent to unravel the animal theft syndicate that is rampant in the county. "With the individuals arrested in connection with the animal theft syndicate, we believe that they will assist us with the investigations to get those involved"Said Mr.Gitonga. Last week, Police in Kirinyaga West were able to arrest a suspect with a stolen animal and a probox believed to be a get-away vehicle suspected to be used to ferry stolen animals. Police have urged wananchi to give vital information that will bring to the arrest of suspected individuals, to end the theft.
